Previously on... Super Smash Bros. 4

OK, I'm gonna make a post about everything Super Smash Bros. 4 that existed before this website was made (AKA, today) and most of what's not on my Twitter. As a fellow swordsman once said to me, PREPARE YOURSELF!

  • The next Super Smash Bros. game(s) will be developed for Wii U and 3DS [Source]
  • Sakurai will be the director [Source]
  • It will not be a copy of Melee and Brawl with more features [Source]
  • The 3DS version will be a more "individual experience" [Source]
  • You will be able to build up your character through battles and rewards in the 3DS version [Source]
  • The upgraded 3DS character can be ported to the Wii U version to be used in battle [Source]
  • Wii U version might have 60fps and smooth animation and better visuals than previous titles [Source]
  • Capcom characters might appear in the game [Source]
  • Big change is coming to the series. Dual support will be a major part of the game [Source]
  • Sakurai is worried that SSB4 might take longer than expected [Source]
  • Sakurai is trying to bring old characters back into Super Smash Bros. 4 [Source]
  • Namco Bandai is developing SSB4 along side with Project Sora [Source]
  • Change of direction may be needed for the next SSB4 [Source]
  • SSB4 is a big priority for Namco Bandai [Source]
  • Tekken characters might appear in SSB4 depending on the fans [Source]
  • The original team (Project Sora) for SSB4 aren't going to continue developing the game [Source]
  • Katsuhiro Harada still thinks that SSB4 development is going well despite fans' outcries [Source]
  • Sakurai's still in charge of SSB4, not Namco [Source]
  • Tales series producer Makoto Yoshizumi doesn't want to push Tales characters into SSB4 due to limitations, although Higuchi would love for a character or two to be included [Source]

Done! That was a lot. XD Don't worry, future news will be more detailed and won't have a bunch of sources for a bazillion different news.
